How to recognise a scam

We will never ask you for a password, a one-time code, a Social Security number, a date of birth, a tax document, a recovery phrase, a private key, or a payment of any kind. We never ask you to buy or trade anything to enter or to claim. If a message asks for any of these in our name, it is not from us. Report it on X.

What to include

  • Submission questions: your receipt code, which looks like SUB-XXXXXXXX. Do not include the account link in your message.
  • Corrections to a published record: the contribution identifier, which looks like RF-XXXXXXXX.
  • Privacy requests: send from the email address you submitted, so we can verify the request without asking for more personal data.
  • Accessibility reports: the page address and what you were unable to do.

Check status yourself

You can look up a submission at any time on the status page using your receipt code and the email address you submitted.
